Privacy Policy for Braze Trivia

Summary

Braze Trivia works entirely on your device. There is no account, no sign-in, and no way for us to identify you.

We receive data from the app in exactly one situation: when you choose to report a problem with a question. Nothing else you do in the app is sent anywhere.

What we do not collect

To be specific, because the previous version of this app worked differently:

No email address, password, display name, or profile.
No account of any kind. The app has no sign-in screen.
No leaderboard, ranking, or publicly visible information.
Your practice scores, answers, and timings stay on your device. They are never transmitted to us and we cannot see them.
No advertising identifiers, no cross-app or cross-site tracking, and no data sold or shared with data brokers.
No analytics SDK.

What we collect, and only when you report a problem

Each practice question has a "Report a problem" option. If you use it, and only then, we receive:

Your optional written comment	To understand the problem
App version and iOS version	To reproduce the issue
A random identifier created when you installed the app	To group multiple reports from one install and to limit abuse

The random identifier is generated on your device, is not derived from your hardware, and is not an advertising or vendor identifier. It is not connected to your name, email, or any other identity. It is deleted if you delete the app.

Please do not include personal information in the comment box. We do not need it and we would rather not hold it.

Where it goes

Reports are stored in our database hosted by Supabase, Inc. in the United States. Supabase acts as our infrastructure provider and does not use the data for its own purposes. Their privacy policy is at https://supabase.com/privacy.
